Way

The journey to Porvoo was done on four wheels. Two per a cyclist. I am certainly no athlete and spent five hours on the way including the many stops to drink, have coffee, take pictures, rest and eat raisins. The last three kilometers were the worst, but the scenery was a consolidation. So pretty, so Finnish, so totally worth the struggle.

Porvoo

One day of my Helsinki holiday was spend in Porvoo. A small town famous for it's wooden architecture app. 50 km from Helsinki. The town is lovely and I shall never get tired of it. This time I visited Restaurant Johans for the first time and was totally awed about the decor. Modern Finnish design, Marimekko fabrics, bare wooden walls and floors, three colours only.

Food was nice too. Fresh and simple. Just the way I like it.
